The GPL-8000 Optical Line Terminal (ONT) consists of 8 GPON ports, four Gigabit RJ45 ports, 8 SFP ports (4 of which are shared), 4 SFP+10G ports, and a management console port. It complies with and meets the requirements of GPON networks according to ITU-T G.984 and G.988.<\/p>\n

It is an ideal solution for POL networks; each GPON port can manage up to 128 ONT devices, guaranteeing high bandwidth of up to 2.5Gbps downstream and 1.25Gbps upstream for distances of up to 20 km, allowing the management and distribution of services such as HDTV, IPTV, VOIP, and multimedia applications.<\/p>\n

Through the SFP and SFP+ ports, connections of up to 10G can be made with other devices, making it possible to extend the network with extreme ease. The GPL-800 offers important management features such as static and dynamic Layer 3 routing, VLAN creation and management, dynamic bandwidth allocation, Spanning Tree protocols, IGMP snooping, access control, and trunk connections on multiple ports.<\/p>\n

The device can be managed via console port, web interface, or SNMP. It is equipped with a removable 100~240VAC power supply and has an additional rear slot for installing a redundant AC or DC power supply.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>
