The GPN-100 is a GPON optical network terminal (ONT) equipped with a GPON port and an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet interface. When used with the GPL-8000 optical line terminal, it provides highly effective GPON solutions for implementing POL, FTTx, and multiservice networks. Compliance with ITU-T G.984/G.988 GPON standards and a plug-and-play design make installation and maintenance extremely simple.

The PON port supports transmission speeds of 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream for distances of up to 20 km over single-mode fiber. Given the ability to handle high-speed voice, data, and video services such as IPTV, online gaming, and VoIP, devices such as notebooks, phones, smart TVs, or access points can be connected via the RJ45 port.
