The GPN-SFP is a compact GPON ONT SFP module designed to be inserted directly into the SFP slot of a switch, transforming them into endpoints for GPON passive optical networks. This elegant, flexible and high-performance solution allows for the simple and modular extension of fibre access, making it ideal for deploying POL infrastructure in corporate or hotel networks. Before installation, you must check that the switch or network device is compatible with GPON modules of this type.

The GPN-SFP supports GPON transmission at speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream, with a coverage range of up to 20 km over single-mode fibre, in accordance with ITU-T standards G.984 and G.988. Despite its compact size, it incorporates advanced management and security features, such as QoS, DBA, traffic control and filtering, as well as support for the OMCI protocol for remote configuration, diagnostics and firmware updates.
