Description

Loose outdoor cables for laboratory connection, with metal armouring in corrugated steel tubing, PE (polyethylene) outer sheath, 250µm primary fibre coating, resistant to water penetration both longitudinally and transversely. The corrugated steel armouring provides safer and more effective mechanical protection against rodents and compression stresses. The optical fibres are contained within a single thermoplastic tube and immersed in a protective gel buffer against moisture.

<span class="qb-accordion-title">General characteristics</span>

  • Applications and performance Cables suitable for outdoor cabling systems in accordance with EN 50173 (2nd edition) and ISO/IEC 11801. Depending on the type of fibre and the length of the links, they are suitable for the creation of transmission channels up to 10GbE and above. Suitable for installation in pipes or conduits for the creation of external connection backbones between buildings in environments where higher resistance to water and rodents is required.
