Description

Pre-terminated MPO/MTP® cables designed for high-density applications in data centres and telecommunications networks. They enable MPO trays to be interconnected quickly, aggregating multiple fibres into a single connector, reducing the space required and simplifying cable management. Ideal for high-performance connections in 10G, 40G, 100G and 400G systems, they ensure fast, secure and easily scalable installations, optimising the efficiency and reliability of high-density networks.

General characteristics

  • Cable type: minicore with single or double sheath, LSZH sheathing material
  • Number of optical fibers: 12 or 24
  • Fibre types: single-mode G.652.D and G.657.A1, multimode OM3 and OM4
  • Outer diameter/Maximum cable pull: 3 mm/140 N for the single-sheath version; 4.5 mm/450 N for the double-sheath version
  • Sheath color: depending on the type of optical fibre
  • Euroclass: Cca s1b,d0,a1 (B2ca on request)
  • Length: from 1 to 1.000 meters

Termination Characteristics

  • MPO/MTP® male or female connectors
  • Number of fibres: 12 or 24 FO
  • Standard insertion loss: ≤ 0.5 dB for MM and ≤ 0.75 dB for SM
    Low loss: ≤ 0.35 dB
  • Polarity of Type A, B or C connections
